Water Buffalo

Banteng
Not for the faint hearted
…Hunted in Australia
Introduced to Australia in the 19th century as a meat supply for early remote settlements the Australian Swamp. Water Buffalo is different in appearance from that in Indonesia. With black sweeping horns measuring 35-50 inches per side, Bull’s will weigh in at 2000+ lbs. With a heavy bone structure and hides 1-2 inches thick these wild animals are not to be under estimated. Being the only natural predator is a large Salt Water Crocodile, Buffalo can be fearless.
While you are at it, add a Banteng to your hunt. It is a similar animal as the buffalo and just as dangerous. You need to have your wits about you as this is a slow stalk through the jungle.
Hunting Buffalo as well as the Wild Ox, Boar and fishing for Barramundi makes this Safari in the remote Outback of Australia one of the true last wild adventures to experience. That’s guaranteed!
